The Clands Legacy Gn 4 Ch 7

The boys argue over who is my favorite and trouble comes over the Clands house as the family deals with the disappearance of their father (big give away, I know)

Jake: I don't know what makes you think you're so special. You seem to think because you're an artsy freak that the narrator likes you more. Well that's not true, because she likes me! Just look at my muscles! Any girl would fall for me!

Rhys: I don't know what muscles you're taking about, but the narrator isn't all for that stuff the last time I checked. She's more into guys who have a creative side-

Jake: I so have muscles Rhys! You're just blind and can't see them!

Rhys: Wow there Jake, I'm just making a simple point!

Jake: Well, how is this for a simple point for you? You're nothing more than an illiterate idiot! You're spelling test you took today in class proves it!

Rhys: Just because I do not like to read as much as you and have trouble spelling doesn't mean I'm illiterate!

Ummmm, maybe you two should stop fighting? I hate seeing my two boys fighting...

Rhys: The narrator is right. We're brothers, we shouldn't be-

Jake: Half-brothers! Remember that little fact of nature here?

Rhys: So?, Just because we don't have the same dad doesn't mean we should be arguing! Who cares if the narrator likes one of us better than the other?

Jake: I do! If I was the narrator's favorite, it would be everything to me right now.

Rhys: Why? It's not that big of a deal! Are you feeling okay?

Jake: I'm a little upset about my life. I've been thinking about my dad, I never got to meet my father you know. My father died before he even knew mom was pregnant! He didn't even know he was going to be a dad! *Starting to cry* He didn't even know about me. I... I'm sorry Rhys but... I just want to see dad once... alive. *Running off to bedroom*

Rhys: Jake! Wait up!

Jake is having problems it would seem. He really wants to meet his dad. Maybe he'll get his wish... someday, just not now. The only problem I don't want to happen again is those two fighting. It's a horrible sight, and I hate it.

Grumpy Ieuan is smiling? That's a new one for me.

Ieuan: Gruw up time! Wurld dominotion herre I come!

Oh, that's why, world domination is on his mind. Well, I'm done with evil sims for a while. I could go for a...

... Kleptomaniac!!!!! 8D It's been forever since I've played with a klepto (Sora in generation one) I'm in love... again. Why do all of Volina's boys have to be so awesome? I really need to pick a favorite.

Florence: I got tired of inventing, so I decided to fool around with some scrap and... I created an invention gnome by accident.

Really? What's it's name?

Florence: Scrap, original I know.

So this weird little metal man I found earlier is your creation?

Florence: Yep, kind of wish it was a girl though and not an old looking man with a tin can dress.

That's one way of looking at it.

You really like making pancakes, don't you?

BreAnne: What's wrong with pancakes?

They're lime pancakes, ewww!

BreAnne: Pancakes are amazing with anything, except pickles. Now that is a disgusting combo! I've tried it.

Here's Buck Clands everyone, Keiko and Abdul's baby boy, the most normal looking Clands baby I've ever seen with Amit's eye color and... I now remember where Jake and Buck got their golden blonde hair color from, the first heir Abby! That hair color skipped a few generations for sure.

Then we have Kenji, Sambuca and Jaeger's baby boy, who has his father's skin and eyes, and his grandpa Amit's hair. He needs a hair cut, doesn't he? I also checked to see what he'd look like as an adult, and he's an exact replica of Jaeger except for his hair. I wasn't able to get a picture though.

Efren: You're almost there Jarret, just a few more steps...

(From The Other Room): ... you no good flàitefî!

Efren: I did not just hear that word be used by one of my sons!

I still don't know what it means.

(From Other Room):  ...This prustélrz needs some sense knocked into his head...

There goes another word I don't know.

Efren: It's bad, let's just put it that way. Jarret, please never say those words. It's something never to say about someone. (And I don't know how my sons learned them! )

(In the Kitchen)

Jake: Stop trying to help me get over my problems Rhys! I can fix them myself!

Rhys: Not with that attitude you can't! You've been becoming more sour by the minute ever since our argument about who was liked by the narrator better. It needs to stop!

Ieuan: Well, if you two are having problems figuring out who the narrator likes more, it's me-

Jake: It so isn't! What is there to like about you?

Ieuan: I'm smoking hot maybe?

Rhys: Couldn't all three of us say that?

Ieuan: Sure, but it's only true about me.

Jake: That isn't true you... you no good flàitefî!

Rhys and Ieuan: Huh?

Jake: What in the world did I just say?

Rhys: This is getting weird! Jake just said a word that none of us have even heard before!

Ieuan: If I've never heard it before, then how come I can tell it's an insult about.... I probably shouldn't say what it means. I wish I could though. This prustélrz needs some sense knocked into his head... I'm doing it as well now!

Jake: Did you just call me a... how on earth do I know the meaning to that word?

Efren: What are you three doing?

Rhys, Jake and Ieuan: NOTHING!!!!!

Efren: Spit it out you three or I'm calling grandma...

Jake: Ieuan thinks he's the narrator's favorite, when actually I am!

Ieuan: No! She likes me the best!

Rhys: You're both wrong. I'm her favorite!

Efren: Okay, now can someone tell me how the three of you came to hear the terms flàitefî and prustélrz.

Rhys: We just seem to know, like it's always been there or something.

Jake: Ya, it's kind of creepy.

Ieuan: Not only that, but we know the meaning of the words as well!

Efren: You three shouldn't know this stuff, not yet anyway!

Rhys: Dad, what stuff? Is there something we should know?

Efren: Yes, you see... I'm a mythic, and your mother is part mythic. We're not normal people like most people think we are.

Jake: Mythic? I've read a little about them. They're magical creatures that protect the time stream and have powers!

Ieuan: Do you have any powers dad? Does mom?

Efren: Yes, we do. Same with your aunt and uncles, but that's not what's important right now. When you become teens it will be though.

Efren: What's important is that you three never say those words again. They're mythic words that are based around old cursed legends. Saying them is like wishing the eternal punishment on each other, which isn't fun. it's worse than death itself.

Jake: Is there anything else we should know?

Efren: That I love all three of you no matter what you do, just try to not say those words ever gain please.

Volina: You stink! My husband can do that magic trick better than you!

Magic Lady: And who is he? The world renown Shades? Ha Ha!

Volina: Actually yes, he is.

Magic Lady: I doubt it!

Efren: * invisible* She has no idea does she?

Volina: Not a clue, she really needs to think her strategy over. If she wants me to not rip her head off she'll stop trying to be such an flà-

Efren: Don't say it! I just got after our boys for saying it, so that means you can't use it either.

Volina: Mental note, don't use mythic cuss words. Yep, I think I'm called good.

Shantel: So I heard you and your brothers were fighting. How did that go?

Rhys: Shhhh!!!!! Scary bus driver alert! We can't talk about it here!

Shantel: She can't hear us. She's just a hologram anyway. She never even leaves that spot, even when she isn't driving anyone!

Rhys: See? Scary bus driver!

June: You seem preoccupied cuz, what's going on?

Florence: You know my brothers have been fighting a lot right?

June: Ya, they're arguing over who is the narrator's favorite.

Florence: It's messing with them! Jake isn't his sweet self anymore! Rhys has been more cautious about the people around him, and Ieuan... is being Ieuan. Not only that, but dad has been acting weird as well! He's always telling me he loves me and that he always will.

June: You need to ask your dad if everything is alright. I know he loves you and all... but saying it over and over? Something isn't right, and you have to talk to him about it.

It seems Florence isn't the only one to notice Efren's strange behavior.

Volina: You've been extremely nervous recently, is something wrong?

Efren: I'm fine, it's just being older has taken it's toll on me some. Other than that, everything is fine.

Volina: If you say so, but I'm still not sure if you're okay.

Efren: Trust me, everything is okay.

Efren: It's getting late, maybe you should put Jarret in his crib. I'll be right up, I promise.

Volina: Alright, see you upstairs. I love you.

Efren: Love you too.

Volina: Time for bed Jarret.

Jarret: No! Me wan' daddy tu cum wit me too!

Volina: He'll be right up Jarret, but first I have to bring you to your room.

Volina: Goodnight Jarret, daddy will be right up to-

*Screams of Pain from downstairs*

Volina: Oh no... EFREN!!!!!!

Volina: Efren! Where are you! Please don't let this be one of your invisible pranks again! It's not funny... *notices fresh blood on the carpet*

Volina: Efren! He couldn't of taken you away! The doctor couldn't of! I can't lose someone I love again! Efren, please let this be just a prank, please!!!

(The Next Day)

Josia: Bre, what are you doing here?

BreAnne: Have you seen Efren recently?

Josia: No, what's going on?

BreAnne: He's gone missing! Volina is in shock and can't stop calling for him. She keeps saying all this none sense about him being invisible and stuff. I think she's going crazy without having Efren with her.

Josia: That's just horrible! I wish there was something could do... I know! Bre, is it okay if I move in with you?

BreAnne: Why are you asking?

Josia: I want to help your family now that Efren has gone missing. Volina seems to be in a state where she won't be able to take care of her kids very well, and I want her kids to grow up fine. Besides, I've come to the conclusion that my daughter Mandie and your son Eneco need to live on their own now, but for that to happen I have to not be living with them.

BreAnne: Sure, you can move in. I'm going to need all the help I can get to raise Volina's children if things turn for the worst.

Josia: So what do you know so far when it comes to talking Jarret?

Jarret: Were daddy?

Josia: Your dad won't be around for awhile, anything else you know?

Jarret: Why mummy so sad?

Josia: Because your dad won't be around. Anything else you can say besides stuff about your parents?

Jarret: Yu luv grandma?

Josia: Yes, I love your grandma very much. She's absolutely stolen my heart from me. One day a girl will do that to you too Jarret.

Jarret: Steal mi heart? Meanie girls! Me wanna keep heart!

For a baby, Jarret was very aware of the situation. He could tell his mother wan't doing fine, or that his grandma had a thing for the guy with blue in his hair. He understood better than his grandma about what had really gone on. His father wasn't just missing, he'd been kidnapped.

He could tell from the words his mother said that his father had been taken from him for a special power he had, something to deal with turning things invisible, whatever that meant.

As the age up sparkles surrounded him, Jarret knew that he would find his dad someday, and make the people who took him pay. Whoever took his father away, they were going to get the worst punishment of their lives once they came face to face with him, Jarret Clands, the youngest child of generation four.

Jarret has some big goals set up for him. If he actually does go for finding his father, he's going to have to risk everything to overcome the doctor and his forces. He won't be alone though, he has his big brothers and sister to back him up.

Jake: You have any idea where your dad is? I'm kind of curious on what you think about what's going on.

Ieuan: Can we not talk about my dad or our argument over who is the narrator's favorite? I just want to move on with my life and not have to worry about what's going to happen to dad or our family now that he's gone missing.

Jake: I'm fine with that. Don't worry Ieuan, I miss him too. You're not the only one struggling over your dad's disappearance...

Jake:... Mom is never going to be the same after this.
