The Clands Legacy Gn 4 Ch 6

Getting over a loved one is hard, so BreAnne has decided moving to a new house might fix some things! It won't though, and neither will a few matches of golf. There is only one thing that can mend her heart, but what is it? Actually, who is it?

BreAnne: Oh Amit! I miss you so much! I'm never going to love anyone like I did for you!

Let's just see about that.

Volina: Come on Ieuan! Speaking is a wonderful thing! You're able to tell me what you want faster!

Ieuan: Bu' it hurd!

Volina: Yes, I know it's hard, but it's one of those things you just got to learn!

Ieuan: No!

Volina: You will learn, one way or another my son. It will happen.

Volina: My stomach hurts...

Efren: Why did you have to die Amit! You weren't that old!

Jake: Efren! Pay attention to the baseball and not your tears! You promised me you'd play catch with me, but you're too busy crying!

Volina: My stomach still hurts, and my crying husband and bossy son are not making it any better.

Rhys: Sparkle time!

Yep, it's about time you became a child. I wonder if you'll still be...

You're amazing looking! I don't care if you're a coward, you are absolutely adorable!

BreAnne: I am a horrible grandma.

Why would you ever say that?

BreAnne: I just decided our family was going to move to the house next door.

You did what?!?!

Volina: Come on Ieuan, we have to leave.

Ieuan: Why? Yu brin me too store?

Volina: No, we're moving to the house next door.

Ieuan: No!!!! Me play wit blocks!

Rhys: What do you think of this Jelly Bean? I grow up and grandma decides it's time to move! What kind of a family does that? It's just not right!

So this is the house. I edited after I took this picture so BreAnne could have her own room, there would be a place to put the wall of accomplishments for each generation (Since it's only getting bigger), there would be a bigger back patio to hang out and...

...A pool! Believe it or not it took me thirty minutes to finally decide how I wanted the pool to be. I almost went with a white walled pool until i came up with this, and the fountain just adds to it.

Everyone settled into the house quickly. Jake decided to play skee ball and workout. He's actually pretty good at this game. I could never get to 33,000 points like he has.

Florence put her eccentric trait to work, inventing toys, widgets and stuff like that. By the time she went to bed she was a level four inventor.

Efren went to start sculpting for getting ready to make the next ice statue of the next heir. He's a savvy sculptor, so it shouldn't take him that long.

Rhys put his artistic trait to use by painting his heart away. He really wasn't too happy with moving, and put all his frustration into his painting, which he stopped after he had reached level 5 to go to bed like his sister had done an hour before.

Volina was still having trouble convincing Ieuan to stop being such a grump and teach him to walk. She'd recently learned she was going to have another baby and wasn't too happy with how her youngest was acting toward her. Efren had volunteered to stop sculpting to help teach little Ieuan, but Volina insisted she taught Ieuan everything, since Efren had done most of the teaching before.

Then there was BreAnne, who was still sad about Amit's death. To talk her mind off her husband, she'd decided that moving would help, but it didn't. Then she started to golf, but almost hit a brand new race car as it drove off from the Lookrem household. Across the street.

BreAnne: I wonder what the Lookrem's have been up to lately. I'll go check up on them later after Josia has finished working.

So later on that day, she went over to check on her grand-baby Callie (Eneco and Mandie's daughter) to see if she was doing okay.

Callie: Hi granny! It's just me and that strange person inside if you were wanting to speak to daddy or Grandpa Josia.

BreAnne: I actually came here to see you my darling. I just didn't expect to see one of my co-workers here as well. She better not be getting into trouble *Evil glare at co-worker*

*Co-worker puts vase she was going to steal back down and leaves*

Callie: Granny! You're glowing red! Are you evil?

BreAnne: Yes I am. I'm the Emperor of Evil your granny is.

Callie: Really? Cool! When I grow up, I want to be the Emperor of Evil like you! Either that or a stylist like Grandpa Josia... and here he comes now! See you inside Grandma Bre!

Josia: Hey Bre, what are you doing here so late?

BreAnne: Coming to see my grand-baby Callie. She's not just yours you know.

Josia: Ya, that's true. How about we go inside?

BreAnne: Sounds like a plan to me.

Josia: So how has life been at the Big Clands' house? I heard the bad news about Amit. Are you okay?

BreAnne: I'm fine I guess, but life has been so much different without Amit. I thought that maybe moving would take some of my anxiety from his death away, but it didn't.

Josia: You know Bre, if you ever want someone to talk to, you can just call me right? Even while I'm at work. I'm always available to talk with you.

BreAnne: Thanks Josia, you're one of the best friends I've ever had. Now that I think about it, our fates have kind of been tied together. It's amazing how our kids ended up together.

Josia: *Hint of sadness* It kind of is. That and the fact that we both moved here to Appaloosa Plains, without the other knowing it. I never expected to see your family ever again after you moved away from Sunset Valley.

BreAnne: Volina and Eneco never expected it too. They were both broken hearted about the whole move thing until they noticed that your family lived right across from us! Your family has done so much for ours, like Sambuca for instance. Thanks to your family taking her in, she could be someplace safe, and Jaeger could still see her. Their expecting their third child soon.

Josia: *Still sad* Really? Well, Sambuca always wanted to have a big family. It was all she ever talked about with me whenever I mentioned your family, how she wanted to marry and have kids with Jaeger.

BreAnne: Is something wrong Josia? You haven't been yourself. You're usually all bubbly and funny.

Josia: It's kind of hard to be happy when your wife broke up with you.

BreAnne: Jasmine did what!?!?!

Josia: Ya, I know. I'm still not completely sure why she did though.

BreAnne: Can you explain what happened?

Josia: Well...

(Earlier That Day)

Jasmine: I can't believe that you could be a level 8 stylist and not bring in enough money to support all of us! Are you lying to me about your job?

Josia: Why would I ever lie about working? I work hard for the money I bring in.

Jasmine: I still think you're lying! For all I know you could be slacking off and who hooing with your customers!

Josia: WHAT?!?!

Jasmine: You heard me! You want to know what I really think you're doing when I'm not around?

Josia: I've only ever been with you and I'm not lying when I say that!

Jasmine: Oh really? And what about BreAnne? You two hang out a lot. I bet you two have been fooling around together when I'm not home.

Josia: BreAnne and I? That's crazy talk! She's just a friend, and she's Callie's other grandparent!

Jasmine: You want to hear crazy talk? How about I'm breaking up with you!

Josia: What's going on?

Jasmine: I'm fed up with being your wife! I don't love you anymore! How's that for your raisin sized head?

Josia: I don't understand...

Jasmine: You only need to understand this, You and me, where over! We have been for some time now, you just didn't seem to realize it!

(Back To Normal time)

Josia: And then she walked outside and into this brand new race car with a young man in the drivers seat, which almost got hit with a gold ball that came out of now where. I'm pretty sure I saw them kiss before they drove off.

BreAnne: Are you suggesting that she made up the story about you cheating on her so she could leave?

Josia: Pretty much, that's what it looked like when I saw her making out at the bar with that guy as I walked by to get to work.

BreAnne: Josia, I'm so sorry! Is there anything I can do?

Josia: Just be there for me like I'm will to be for you. That's all I need right now.

BreAnne: Hey, I have an idea. Let's go to the Adventure Landing by the river and hang out there tomorrow, at about this time.

Josia: Not a bad idea. I'll see you there, and don't leave me hanging alone either my evil friend.

BreAnne: Don't worry! I don't leave my true friends on the line when they need me. That would just be plain mean, not evil.

Ieuan: Mommy Me go poo like yu ask!

Volina: Daddy!!! I miss you!!!

Ieuan: (Ungrateful lady! Why did I ever end up in this family?)

Jake: I don't like the fact that Florence is all alone in the back and hiding. It's not healthy for her to be this scared of people.

Rhys: I'm scared of people, does this mean being a coward isn't good for me?

Jake: No it's not. You shouldn't be afraid all the time. It's bad for you mentally, and physically!

Rhys: Says the nerdy athlete.

Jake: What wrong with that? I can be physically and mentally stable at the same time!

Rhys: I think I know your lifetime wish is.

Efren: And poof! Butterflies for the girl of my dreams!

Volina: They're so pretty! You are amazing at what you do Efren. It's no wonder you're so successful at your career, you seem to be able to do anything!

Efren: You know what's even more gorgeous than these butterflies I found?

Volina: I think I know what you're going to say.

Efren: You of course! What else is as breath taking as you are?

Volina: And this is why you stole my heart from me. You are amazing at flirting.

Volina: So where are you going mom?

BreAnne: I promised Josia I'd go to Adventure Landing with him.

Volina: Oh really now *Winks* have fun with him.

BreAnne: What's up with your eye twitching?

Volina: Huh? No, I was winking!

BreAnne: And why would you do that? It's not like anything is going on between Josia and I.

Volina: Sure mom, whatever you say *Evil smile*

Josia: Hey Bre! *Grabs her hands*You actually came!

BreAnne: Yes I did, now what should we do?

Josia: I don't know, talk maybe?

BreAnne: About what?

Josia: Hmmm, how's Jake doing? Since he lives with you I don't get to see him that often, even if he is my grandchild and lives right across the street.

BreAnne: You want to see some pictures?

Josia: Sure...

BreAnne: ...This is Jake playing Skee ball, he loves that game it would seem. This is him working out in the living room, another thing he loves to do. This is him reading a book that my brother Fredrick wrote back when he was a child. Oh!, And this is him in the bathtub playing deep sea diver!

Josia: I wish I could see him more often. I never get to see him since he doesn't live with me.

BreAnne: At least you get to see Callie. I also have other grandchildren I can't see all the time because they can't all live under my roof. I wish they could, but they can't.

Josia: You have how many grand-kids now?

BreAnne: Too many to count. Let's see, Keiko is going to have her first child, Ziv has a girl, There is Callie of course, then there is Jaeger and his two almost three kids, and then there is Volina with her four almost five. So... eleven in all.

Josia: Wow, I don't think I'd be able to keep track of all them! I can tell someone loves to keep in touch with her kids.

BreAnne: Yes I do. I love them all so much! You're lucky to have Mandie still living with you.

Josia: You mean my ungrateful daughter who tells me everyday I'm the reason she's not rich and famous? I love her yes, but she can be a pain!

BreAnne: Eneco is like that. I feel sorry that you have to deal with both of those two.

Josia: It's okay, Eneco's not that bad once he learns you know more about fixing broken stoves than he does.

BreAnne: That's my Eneco alright.

Josia: *Looks up at the sky* The stars are starting to show up. Do you want to go sit down and watch?

BreAnne: Sure, sounds great. Now I can show you all the stars I've found and named!

Josia: I love sitting down and just looking up at the night sky. Jasmine never really liked it however. She was always complaining about how it was a waste of time.

BreAnne: It's a shame she doesn't she the natural beauty of it. *Looks over at Josia* (Oh wow... When did Josia get so handsome looking?)

Josia: Ya, there are so many things that are naturally beautiful. You can always find them if you just take the time *Looks over at BreAnne for a second* (Like you for example)

BreAnne: It's getting kind of cold out.

Josia: You want to us my jacket?

BreAnne: But if I use it, you'll get cold.

Josia: I'm okay with that.

BreAnne: I'm not going to use your jacket you know.

Josia: Then how about you get close to me? I'll be able to keep you warm. (What am I doing? She's never going to say...)

BreAnne: Yes, I'd like that. (I can't believe I'm doing this! It's not like I like him this way... do I?)

BreAnne: And that's Zinga, the star I named after my Imaginary Friend that I made real.

Josia: It's a beautiful star. What ever happened to your imaginary friend after she became real?

BreAnne: Let's just put it this way, she got drunk, then slept with Amit while he was my fiance by accident because they were both drunk, had a daughter with him named Maxie, and drowned for unknown reasons. Even after she did all that, she was still my best friend. She was one of those natural beauties like you were talking about, just like her star.

Josia: She must of been an amazing person. You know why? (I can't believe I'm actually going to say this)

BreAnne: Why?

Josia: Because you imagined her.

BreAnne: *Blushing*  (I haven't felt this way since I met Amit. Why am I just realizing these emotions for Josia? Maybe it's because I was with Amit.)

Josia: I should probably get back home. I promised Callie I'd put her to bed. (And the fact that I can't stand being around you while I feel this way. You'd never like me the way I like you-)

BreAnne- Josia! Wait! Before you go, I have something I need to tell you!

BreAnne: Thanks for doing this with me. It's helped me realize a few things about myself.

Josia: Really? Are you okay with telling me what those things are?

BreAnne: Of course I can... I think. (Here I go, I'm going to tell him) I... I like you... a lot.

Josia: You do? *Smiling* I can't believe this!

BreAnne: Why is that? Did you not see it coming, and *gulp* you don't like me back?

Josia: No, it's because I like you as well, and I never thought you actually liked me back!

BreAnne: You... feel the same way?

Josia: Yes, I do.

Josia: Would you... like to go on a date with me sometime in the near future?

BreAnne: Yes, I'd love that.

And BreAnne thought she'd never love anyone but Amit!

Volina: Thank you Ieuan for being a good boy and learning all your skills. Doesn't it feel good to be such a big boy?

Ieuan: It still hurd worrk! Me no like it!

Volina: No one does, but that's life.

Efren: Hey babe, how did teaching Ieuan go for you?

Volina: He thinks everything is hard, and for the most part was refusing to do anything because of that! Next time, I'll leave you to do the teaching. You're better at it.

Efren: I just have that magic touch I guess. It's a gift of mine.

Volina: Like almost everything else except cooking?

Efren: Yep, sounds about right to me.

Florence: Ya, I think there should be a law against doing homework the day after you move to a new house. It's just a pain in the neck... We should go to court for it!

Jake: Although that would be awesome, I'd rather just do the homework than go to court over the issue.

Rhys: Ya, court is scary after all. You'd hate it. There is lot of people and stuff.

Florence: Lots of people?... never mind! I'll stick to just doing my work.

June: My cousins are a bunch of crazies. Homework isn't that bad.

Ieuan: Jak look funni!

Jake: I do not! The narrator says I look great whenever I exercise, isn't that right narrator?

*Drool*

Ieuan: Narratur crazie! Me knuw why family crazie too!

Jake: We are not crazy! We're just different.

Volina: Efren, would you like to play some chess with me?

Efren: I'd love to, but I think it would be best if I passed for now. I'm kind of feeling a little... old.

Volina: Old? Why would you feel old?

Efren: Oh no, I'm becoming an adult. Please let me not have a midlife crisis, please let me not have a midlife crisis! I'm happy with my life right now!

I have no control over if you have one or not, that's the games choice.

Efren: I beg of you almighty game! PLEASE LET ME NOT HAVE A MIDLIFE CRISIS!!!!!

Efren: I look almost exactly like I did when I was a young adult. No midlife crisis for me! I'm still as sexy as ever.

Hmmm, Basemath and Trust singing a love song? Not sure I totally agree with this approach. Isn't he your uncle Basemath?

Trust: Hey! We're just friends!

That's what Josia and BreAnne said.

Basemath: We're just friends, honest!

Rhys: Too... many... ghosts! *Faints*

My poor cowardly blue hottie. Sad enough, he was woken up very rudely from his "Untimely Nap" by Basemath and Trust singing.

Efren: My darling, it's your turn. Why haven't you played?

Volina: Trying to decide if i should finish this game or go to hospital.

Efren: Why would you have to go to the... WE'RE LEAVING RIGHT NOW!

Volina: But I'm about to win!

Efren: And I don't want you to be in labor without proper treatment! We can finish our match after we come back.

Volina: If you insist. It's probably a good thing if we leave.

BreAnne: Yum, pancakes! My favorite food; pure goodness for a sim so evil!

You do realize your daughter Volina is giving birth, right?

BreAnne: She is? Oh well, I'm sure she'll be fine. She has Efren to take care of her.

Shouldn't you be watching the kids then?

BreAnne: They can join me if they want.

There is no separating you from your pancakes, is there?

Jarret Clands, another boy for me to love to death, and he's a nature lover too! He didn't get Efren's nose like I wanted sadly. He has his hair and eyes like I wanted though, so everything is okay.

Ieuan: I hate thiz fami! Ther all illiterate idiuts!

You can't hate this family Ieuan, but first of all, how did you know how to say illiterate?

Ieuan: Jak say it' too Rhies!

Jake said what to Rhys?!?! Are they fighting or something?

Ieuan:...

Ieuan, are they?!?!

It seems tense is about to rise in the house. How will things unfold as the boys fight over who is my favorite?

AND I'm starting to work on the future spouses, but I need some help with the boys. Having four boys has left me brain dead on how to make their girl friends look.

The boys I need girls made for are as follows...
~ Rhys
~ Ieuan
~ Jarret

I also need a...
~ A Snobby Cheerleader who will do anything to get her way.
~ A Trouble-Making Girl who uses people for her own use.
~ A Popular Hot Guy who only cares about his image and nothing else.

Please comment on which one you'd like to do and so I can tell you if they're taken and what the requirements for them are. You have about a week and a half before I get back from my vacation for creating them, so don't feel rushed into creating them. I just need to know as soon as you can if you are going to make them.
