The Destruction Of The Codes Chapter Four

Last time, we finally got to learn a little more about Lestat, but at the end Leanna had a strange vision of her and Lestat, Kissing. She's not sure what it is, but all she knows is, her mind isn't sure how she's feeling for Lestat now.

I awoke with a startle from the me kiss Lestat scene I'd just dreamed. I'd never kissed Lestat before, and I was in all ways not wanting it to happen, then why had I had a vision of it? Then a realization hit me of what Lestat had said.
You've inherited your fathers brains. That's all the Doctor knows, but if he was to learn of your ability to look into the past, and very occasionally, people's dreams, you can bet that life here will only get worse.
Oh no, what if that vision of Lestat and I wasn't actually a vision, but a dream? If it was, then was it Lestat's, or someone else's, or even my own?

That single kiss haunted my mind for days. Every night, the same dream would play in my mind, and I'd keep dwelling on it. Who's was it? Every night, I found myself more and more wanting to see the dream, and not to figure out who's dream it was, but to just see me be embraced by Lestat. Feelings I'd never felt before kept overcoming me as I'd watch his lips touch mine every time I went to sleep. The longer I watched, the more I thought I could actually feel his lips actually touch me, although whenever I woke up, I found myself alone.
The dream wasn't the only thing I kept seeing. Every night, I would see a vision of Lestat. Each one about the horrible things he'd done for the doctor, and reasons why he'd done them. He'd killed people, brought other people here, and yet, after every job he accomplished, he'd go back to his room, only to cry for the lives he'd destroyed and ended. Some of the time, he was able to find a way to spare someone's life, but the guilt of all those others kept coming on top of him.

After days of thinking of that kiss, my thoughts were put on the shelf as the cell door opened to reveal Lestat, the first time I'd seen him or anyone else since he'd ran out of the room. His eyes were droopy as if he'd just gotten up, and he seemed kind of sluggish in the way he moved. He wasn't wearing his jacket and was bare footed.
"Why are you here?" I asked him as he looked at me. I couldn't tell if he was looking at me like he had in the dreams because of all that black tear mark makeup. If he was, he was sure doing a good job of hiding how he felt.
"The doctor told me to check on you for some reason. He said if I didn't, he would."
Then I had my first non-unconscious flashback. It was of what the doctor had said to Lestat. It almost made me almost scream. It was a very simple, yet terrifying enough to send chills up my back.
Lestat, go check on the older girl. She must be very lonely in that room. Not seeing anyone in a week.
Why are you asking me to go see her? Couldn't you send Selene?
Selene is off with the youngest girl, calming her down still. Letat you will go check on the girl, cause if you don't, I will, and you know what happens when I see young girls like her. It doesn't end well for them.
Yes doctor, I'll go see her.

"Leanna, are you okay?" He asked me, looking me in the eye as he sat down beside me.
"Huh? Oh, yes, I'm fine. Besides being stuck here and alone, I'm perfectly okay."
I sat up on the bed, looking down at my bare feet. I hated this place already, and I'd only managed to see only one room in person, my own. I hated the doctor, I hated Selene, I hated the minions of the doctor, and most of all, I hated Lestat.
No, I didn't hate Lestat. I just couldn't explain what I was feeling for him. Was it anger, guilt, or something else? I wasn't sure.
Lestat sat on the bed next to me and placed his hand on my forehead, "Are you naturally this warm?"
I touched my forehead, realizing how warm I was, "No, I'm not."
Lestat removed his hand from my forehead. Then he took the sleeve of my sweater and pulled it up some. He placed two of his fingers on my wrist and felt my pulse, "Hmmmm, can you open your mouth for me? I need to check something out."
I wanted to say no, not after seeing that dream of him and I, but all I could manage to do was nod and open my mouth for Lestat to see inside.

He gently held my cheek as he looked at the inside of my mouth. I remained as calm as I could. I'd never let any one get this close to me, ever, "Your throat is a little swollen. Something very common with our type after traveling through a portal. It wouldn't of come up except you haven't been treated all week. Sorry about that. It's my job to make sure everyone here is in good heath," he reached into his pocket and placed a light purple pill in my hand, "It's a caplet with some special herbs that help our kind after we get out of the portals.  They help with headaches, swelling throats, trouble standing up, passing out and most of all, confusion," he winked at me after saying confusion. Did he know something I didn't?
"I don't trust you enough to take this-"

"It's okay, I take it all the time," he took another pill out of his pocket and swallowed it, "In about ten minutes I'll be as I would say, normal. My headache from travelling in the portals from earlier today will be gone and I won't be in a state of mass confusion about certain things I'm thinking," Like me, I thought to myself.
"Well, if you say so," as I swallowed the pill, I noticed something about Lestat's make up around his eyes. I reached out my hand and touched the black underneath his eyes, his eyelids opening wide as he felt my skin touch his. As I touched him, I could see him breathing more heavily, almost as if my hands touching his face weren't something natural for him to feel "It's tattooed on,"

He nodded, his arms starting to shake as I moved my fingers down his cheek. They were so soft, smooth, and delicate, who knew someone so powerful could be so fragile, "Yes... they are..." he stuttered. Was he afraid of me? I didn't think someone like Lestat would be afraid of me. Maybe it wasn't me he was afraid of, but his feelings for me showing.
"Why is that? Do you like having these markings?"
"No..." he was still stuttering, I was starting to think that he really did like me, "I can't stand these things... but the doctor made me get them..."
That might explain why he dreamed of himself without the tattoos, but what about the hair? He had a different hair cut in my dream.
"What about your hair? Do you like having it in that cut?"
His head shook back and forth, "Same reason as before... the doctor made me... said it would make me... more sinister..."
"Why do you do what the doctor says? Are you really that helpless, or is something else keeping you from doing what you want to do?"
"I... I..." he never finished his sentence before he closed his eyes as the tears started to fall. He really was fragile, more than I thought. Maybe I'd pushed him over the line. I hated when I did that. It was kind of a trait I'd taught myself from not having my real parents around.
Maybe I should cheer him up, I thought to myself as I saw Lestat still crying. he didn't seem like a bad guy, only someone who'd been told what to do for too long, an eagle, wanting to spread its wings and fly away from the danger around it.

"Are you okay Lestat?" I finally asked him after thinking of what to say. He opened his eyes to look at me as I said his name, only to turn away as he saw my face, "Lestat, what's wrong?" I reached out to touch his shoulder only to find him stand up and walk away from me.
"Please, don't touch me. I've done so many horrible things to your family, and so many others," He crossed his arms as he leaned his head against the wall across from me, "I don't deserve to even be talking to you, or to have you be sympathetic to me. I don't deserve any of it."

"Lestat, I know you've done some terrible things," he turned his head toward me as I walked over to him. My voice went quiet as I moved toward his ear to speak, "Every vision I've had so far had you in it. I've seen the bad you've done, but I've seen the reasons why you continue. You care about Selene. You don't want the doctor to hurt her. I know you attacked Rygan and from what I saw, your the one who brought my dad into the portals after you knocked Rygan unconscious. They're not the only ones you've affected though."

He nodded, turning his head away from me, only to find me placing my hands on both sides of his head, turning his neck so I could whisper the rest of what I wanted to say, or should I say, ask.
"What is it you dream about Lestat? Is it freedom? Selene's safety? To bet the doctor at his own game?" I stopped for a moment for it to all sink into Lestat's mind before breaking the news to him about how I knew how he felt about me. I dropped my hands from his head for him to turn around and look me in the eyes.
"Leanna... you don't know all the things I've done," he tried to convince me, "You don't deserve to be here. It's my fault you're here. You hear me, my fault. You should be off somewhere pursuing your dreams, not locked up in a cell, wasting your time with-"

"Shhh," I interrupted, cuffing my hands around his head, placing my head against his. It had been ten minutes since I'd taken that pill, and all my confusion from the past week that had been building up, my feeling for Lestat were as clear as a bell. I knew what I was feeling for him, "It's me isn't it? I'm the one you dream of. Just you and me... and this,"

Our lips touched and Lestat forgot about everything he'd been trying to tell me. I'd never kissed anyone before in my life. I'd imagined it as something romantic, but this was beyond anything I'd ever imagined it could be. His grip on me was strong, but not overpowering like I'd thought it would be.  If anything, he was allowing me to be the one to push it as far as I wanted it to go. His lips were gentle, but still compelling to me as his mouth begged for more.

He finally broke away from my mouth, just for a while to tell me how much he cared,"Leanna, I promise I'll get all of you out of here." Then he was back for more.
I wasn't confused about my feelings for Lestat anymore. I knew perfectly how I felt for him. I loved him.

The Clands Legacy Gn 3 Ch 12

Thanks for coming to read my humble chapter of the Clands Legacy. This chapter is basically going to be about all the crazy turmoil the Third Generation of the Clands Legacy is dealing with as teens, and not just BreAnne's kids though...

Jarod, Joanne and Tenisha, the triplets of Ray and Lauren aren't sure what's been going on. They seem to be able to read each others thoughts and feel each others emotions, even if they're across town! They were never able to do this when they were younger, so why is it suddenly coming up now that they're teenagers?

Kristal, Zeph and Issia's girl, has always had a way with convincing people to do stuff for her, but now whenever she asks someone to do something, they do it without question on the spot, almost as if they're under a spell of some kind. Is it just her mind playing with her, or is she really causing people to do whatever she asks them to?

Willa and Salvatore's child, Anne, has never really been noticed since her parents are always busy. To gain her parents attention, she started to pull pranks and eventually, illegal stuff. Now more than ever, her parents don't seem to care, even if she does something right in front of them. To tell the truth, no one seems to care. It's almost as if she's invisible whenever she's trying to get attention, but that's not possible... is it?

Erik and Vickie's boy, Tony, loves to read. He'd rather socialize with the characters in his book than real people. When he became a teenager, it almost seemed as if the things he read actually became real around him. While talking with one of these 'imaginary characters', his mother caught him and he thought he was doomed to be called insane for the rest of his life. Instead, his mother started to talk with this 'imaginary character' as well. After that, his mother hasn't been the only one to socialize with these 'imaginary characters'.  Could it be possible that he can bring what he reads to actual reality?

Even though Fredrick and Candice are the oldest couple, they weren't able to have a single child for the longest of time, until they moved to Riverview to get Fredrick's Gardening career up. None of Fredrick or Candice's family can find a way to contact them and see how they are, all they've managed to learn is the name of their son, Jake Clands. Other than that, the whereabouts of them is void.

Now let's get back to Appaloosa Plains to see what the five troublesome teens of BreAnne and Amit are doing now.

After school, Jaeger decided to go to Sambuca's. He had a bone to pick with Mandie. He'd seen her make fun of Sambuca as she waited outside the school for him. Turns out, after a quick conversation with Sammi, he learned that Mandie had been putting her on the down low at the house. Isidro had tried to make her feel welcome, but Mandie just kept making all his effort go to waste.

Jaeger- If you as so much as talk badly about Sammi, I'll make your life so unbearable, you wish you'd never crossed me!
Mandie- Should I be scared?
Jaeger- If you want to live to see tomorrow, then yes!

Mandie- Why should I listen? I don't care about you or your girl friend. Only Eneco and I matter-
Jaeger- The world does not evolve around you two! Don't you get it? You're both nothing but scum to everyone else! When will you two realize that everyone hates you!
Mandie- No, everyone just doesn't see how superior me and Eneco are-
Jaeger- Or maybe you're too stubborn to get the truth into your dumbfound brain!

Snake Dude- Then, the doctor took one good look at the man and said, You ready to see me?, with an evil grin on his face. The patient soon found himself strapped to a table, the doctor's scapel coming down toward his stomach...
Amit- Seriously!?! You're scaring all my patients away! Look at this guy, he looks like he's about to die of fright!
Snake Dude- That's what you get for giving us expensive check ups!
Amit- What? I'm giving a free health clinic right now!
Snake Dude- Oops, sorry doctor sir.
Amit- You better, or I'll bring the scapel down on you!

Volina- Did you really have to wake me up, just so you could get the clothes!
Jaeger- Ya, that pretty much sums it up.
Volina- If school wasn't in ten minutes, did kill you.
Jaeger- Thank you almighty watcher for school!... And you'll never hear me say that ever again in my life. By the way sis, you really need to get some clothes on...
Volina- Please don't say you still find my body attractive!
Jaeger- I don't know what's wrong with me! Whenever you have almost nothing on, I somehow feel drawn to you.
Volina- This is really getting on my nerves! Don't you have a girl friend now or something?
Jaeger- Yes, and that's why I'm going to ask you to get some clothes on. I don't think Isidro would like to learn that all of your brothers are crushing on your almost naked body.
Volina- Fine! I'll get out, but you better not mention any of this at school...
Jaeger- Don't worry, I'm not going to school today.
Volina- What?!?!?

Ahhhhhhhhh... Jaeger, why are you skipping school and sleeping in the same bed as your mom?

Jaeger- Get lost Narrator! I didn't want to go do the math quiz and... I'M IN BED WITH MY MOM... IN VOLINA'S ROOM!?!?!
BreAnne- Huh? What's going on here... JAEGER!?!?! Why are you in the bed next to me!
If neither of them knows why, I'm in complete shock.

BreAnne- I can't believe you son! Skipping school and sleeping in the bed with me, in your underwear of all things!
Jaeger- Who's the one speaking, Miss I'm In My Undies Too. Besides, I never fell asleep in this room and...
BreAnne- You're starting to sound like Keiko! Just get to school and try not to get on my bad side again, you understand!
Jaeger- Yes mother.

So what was with you sleeping in Volina's bed, next to your mom?
Jaeger- I wasn't in Volina's bed when I fell asleep! I was in my room, then I heard you and woke up next to mom! I don't know what went on!
Oh great, another strange occurrence has bestrewed itself on of the teens.

Keiko- I sure hope that crazy man from earlier today who was staking me doesn't come and see me doing this. I need to find my homework.
What crazy man? Are you hallucinating again?
Keiko- No! I'm dead serious! He had purple hair with aqua blue tips, yellow eyes...and some sort of scales on his arms!
Oh... I think I know who your talking about, but I'm not telling anyone till the special! ;)
Keiko- I've never been this cared in my life! The worst part is, I don't know how or why! It almost feels like... like I'm sharing my emotions with my brother!
Even though this is Keiko, I'll count that as another weird event for the teens.

Eneco- Come on Ziv! Mandie and I make the cutest couple! You and Jada are just mere amateurs when it comes to passing as a couple alone!
Ziv- You know what, I'm sick and tired of you putting me down. I wish you'd just fall in a hole sometimes.
What did the coward Ziv just say?!?!?
Eneco- Take that back Ziv! Take that back!
Ziv- Take what back? The fact that your a self centered jerk who thinks he is everything? I'm tired of being put down by you!
Eneco- I... I can't believe you! *Runs upstairs*
I'm so proud of you Ziv... wait just a sec, what's wrong? It looks as if you've seem a ghost, or had an unnatural occurrence.
Ziv- Those... those emotions weren't mine! I was feeling what Keiko felt towards Eneco! This isn't like me!
Another event for the books. What is going on with everyone? Better check on Eneco and see if he's alright.

Eneco- It is all about me... isn't it? I mean, I'm handsome, smart, charming, and...
Mirror- Get a life dude! You need to find a hobby or something! Hang out with Mandie instead of looking at yourself and talking too...
Eneco- I'M GOING INSANE LIKE ME SISTER KEIKO!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! *Runs off*
Mirror- That was... not what I was planning.
Did the mirror just talk to Eneco!?!? Okay, now I'm confused even more than before! What is going on with Bre's kids?

Volina- Hey Josia Lookrem, can you give me advice on my outfit. I'm kind of wanting to change my out look on the way I see things...
Josia- And you think that changing your appearance will do something for you?
Volina- I guess, I'm really not sure about somethings that are going on at my house. So can you help me out?
Josia- It's my job, so I guess I will, since you are mt son's girl friend.
Voilna- I want to be more than that when the time comes.
Josia- Well, he's all yours when your ready to ask him ;)

Maxie went to some ceremony for being in the music club and had to wear her formal wear. She looks good in it though. Oh no, I just realized something. This means she's ageing up soon... doesn't it.
Maxie- Better get my grades up before I graduate then.
What would happen if I said you and Stephan were moving to Starlight Shores to get your singing career a head start, then graduating there?
Maxie- I'm.. I'm going to be moving to Starlight Shores? YOU MEAN IT!!!!! I CAN'T WAIT!!!!
And so here comes the announcement of a new story I'm doing called A Song To Kiss You Good-Bye, a story staring Maxie Clands, Stephan Kane, and Roy Herman. Wait a minute, who is this Roy Herman I speak of? You just have to wait and see...

... Because the Clands lives are about to get even more complicated.
Volina- You're blaming me for having the mirror talk to you? Are you insane or something! I'd never do such a thing! I'm evil, not a witch!
Eneco- Could of fooled me! With making us boys here thinking thoughts we never wanted to think about you as. You know hard that is?
Volina- What about me! You really think I like having my brothers thinking of me as hot? That's Isidro's job!
Ziv & Keiko- AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Jaeger- What's wrong with you two?
Ziv & Keiko- We just read each others thought!... Stop that!... No you stop that!... Ugh!
Eneco- See! I'm not the only one who's having supernatural things happen to them!
Volina- Wait... if I'm having my brothers drooling over me when I'm almost naked, Eneco is having the mirror talk to him, and the twins are reading each others thoughts... then what's Jaeger got wrong with him?
*Everyone looks at Jaeger*
Jaeger- Well... I did find myself in Volina's bed next to mom, even though I fell asleep in my own bed. So unless I sleep wake and mom didn't hear me come in, then I don't know what happened... why is everyone wide eyed at me?
Ziv- Look at yourself and tell me what's going on with all the lights.
Jaeger- Huh?

Jaeger- What's going on? Anyone know what's happening?
Eneco- I told you she was a witch! Either that or Jaeger is!
Volina- I'm not a witch and neither is Jaeger! I'm just as confused as you all are!
Ziv & Keiko- The rooms disappearing around us... will you stop copying me!
Jaeger- Everyone just shut up! Something is seriously wrong and we have no idea what it is!
Volina- I think I see something up ahead. It... like looks like our cousins!
Jaeger- We have cousins? When was anyone going to tell me this!
Eneco- This just keeps getting more puzzling by the moment! When will this ever end!

While her half-siblings were dealing with the situation on hand, Maxie's birthday was finally here. After becoming a young adult, her and Stephan would go Starlight Shores to finally get their careers as singers started. She knew her and Stephan would make it big, but the road to fame is full of misfortune. If only she knew what lies ahead of her.

Now off to see the world, Maxie can't wait to settle down with Stephan and start their lives together, going for their dreams. The road to fame is however paved in pain and sorrow, as she will learn that life isn't what it is made to be in the movies.

Thanks for reading as always. I'll try to get The Destruction of The Codes Chapter Four, The Clands Legacy Heir Special Part One, and A Song To Kiss You Good-Bye Chapter One out in the next week, can't make any promises though.

The Destruction Of the Codes Chapter Three

Last time, Leanna and the others were being taken someplace in a hurry by Arther, who seemed to be afraid of something, someone named the Black Blood Angels. However, getting far enough from them has been interrupted for the moment.

It all happened so fast, I couldn't figure out exactly what had happened. The speeding car had been stopped suddenly by someone in the road. Before I had time to see what the person looked like, they picked up the car and threw it off the road, it flipping all the way down the hill until it crashed into a tree at the bottom. During the end of the tumbling, I'd somehow managed to get thrown out of the car. Arther and Zeke had gone unconscious on the way down, and Angelia was crying so hard, I wasn't sure what to do as I was losing consciousness as well on the ground. Before I lost all awareness of my surroundings, I felt a hand touch my forehead where I'd gotten cut from the windows breaking.
"She's... she's beautiful," the person said, stroking my cheek.
"Come on, we have to bring them to the doctor," a females voice said to the man, "He told us to bring them back to him, alive. If we're going to get those two up front back alive, we have to hurry."
"What do you think did this?" the man said, his hands still touching my bleeding head.
"What do you mean?"
"From what I've heard, Arther is one of the best drivers the doctor has ever created. He would never get in a car wreck this bad."
"You think something caused him to swerve off the road?"
"No, I think they were thrown off," As my senses started to deplete from me, I looked up at the man who was talking right above me.
Red, his eyes were red... bright, cherry red...

When I awoke, I found myself looking up to see him, The black hair and red eyed man I saw in my dream. The same red eyes I'd seen as I passed into dream state.
"Don't worry, everyone else is okay," he exclaimed, trying to stroke the hair out of my face.
I slapped his hand away from me, already knowing his name for some reason, "Don't you dare touch me Lestat or I'll-"
"You remember me?" Oops, shouldn't of said his name, "You were hardly a year old when I last saw you. Actually, the only time besides the car wreck and now that I've seen you. Even then, you shouldn't know my name."
"Leave me alone you monster!"
"And you remember what I acted like around you when you were younger," he laughed, "Sorry about that. When my master tells me to do something, it tends to be more of on the violent side," He didn't sound like a bad guy. He sure looked like he was bad however, and I wasn't going to stay here much longer to find out more about him.
Before I could try and get past him and run for the door, Lestat sat down on the bed next to me, shaking his head, "I know what your thinking. I've been in the same situation as you. Sorry to break it to you, escaping is almost impossible. I tried it when I was younger and ended up getting caught before I even make it ten steps out of my prison cell," He leaned in a little more, whispering something to me that he didn't want anyone else to heard to me. The sound that came out was calm, peaceful, and caring, almost like a gentle breeze, "Another thing you might want to consider, don't mention anything about knowing who I am or what you learn from your visions about anything. If the doctor learned that you had the same abilities as your dad, he'd use you just like he has with Selene and I."
"Abilities?" I asked him, my head swirling with questions.

"You've inherited your fathers brains. That's all the Doctor knows, but if he was to learn of your ability to look into the past, and very occasionally, people's dreams, you can bet that life here will only get worse."
"I can do what?" This was new to me. Visions of the past? What was this guy talking about? Of course that would explain why I had that flash back of the night my dad disappeared, but why had I only just started to have these visions?
Turns out, Lestat knew what I was thinking, "It only starts showing after you go throw the time stream for the first time."
"Great, how can my life get any worse? I'm stuck in some prison cubical with some guy who somehow is involved with my past, keeping me from escaping."
"Trust me, if you did get past me, you'd have to deal with the thousands of the doctor's minions, the mindless ones, who have only one order. Keep all prisoners alive and locked up in their cells."
"Then what are you?"
He remained silent for maybe a minute, words like 'mistake' and 'imperfection' sometimes quietly rolling off his tongue. He didn't seem to notice that I heard every single word he tried to say to himself. He finally gave out a lonesome sigh, whispering his answer into my ear, "Someone who wants out of all this."

He then threw himself off the bed and ran out of the cell, closing the door and locking it behind him, the sound of him crying as he ran down what sounded like a long hallway. For someone who was so strong, he wasn't great at keeping his emotions under control.
I sat myself up, looking at the door, his words ringing in my head, someone who wants out of all this. He didn't like being here, or working for the doctor it seemed, so why did he stay here? After I finally managed to fall asleep, I soon learned of why Lestat never left.

"My dear foolish child," the doctor said to a young teenage boy, who'd been forced to stand in front of him. Hair that was as dark as the night sky, eyes as red as roses and muscles of the demi-god Hercules. The guy standing, looking at the doctor with hatred, had to be the most attractive guy I'd ever seen in my life. I almost didn't hear the doctor speak again because I was admiring him so much, "Why did you try and runaway. Did you really think you were going to get out without me knowing?"
The boy looked up at the doctor, a silent growl coming from his mouth, "I have to get out, you know that. I'm not mindless like the others. I don't belong here."
"What about Selene? She's not mindless as well."
"I was going to go get her out next,"
The doctor chuckled, an evil grin forming on his face, "Well, might I mention that Selene will suffer greatly if you ever try to escape again."
"What are you talking about?"

"She's a beautiful young girl. I wonder how much she would squeal if I went into her room and forced her to do it with-"
The boy's eyes opened as wide as the red sea when Moses placed his staff into the water's bay, "You... you would dare touch her!"
"You wanna bet? Like I said, she's very beautiful."

That was when the boy's anger got the best of him. He started to hit the invisible wall that protected the doctor from his rage. The doctor didn't even flinch for a moment as the boy kept hitting the wall, the whole thing shaking from the force of his punches. After maybe ten minutes of this, the guy finally stopped, sweat dripping down his forehead as he tried to catch his breath. He looked up as the doctor got out of his seat and shook his head at him.
"I swear, if you as so much lay a finger on Selene in any sort of manner as you are talking about, I will kill you," the way the boy said it, you could tell he was dead serious.
All the doctor could manage was another evil laugh, "That would be a shame now would it? Cause then you wouldn't be able to receive your powers, since I am the only one who can open the portal."
"I'd find a way to open it."
"Ha! It's impossible without me being alive! Only I know how to open and use it! If I was to be dead, you'd have no way of leaving and would be stuck her to rot with all the others for eternity! Do you really want that? Do you?"

The boy looked away from the doctors face, cursing under his breath. What was so important about these abilities the doctor was talking about? "You play an unfair game here doc,"
"All that matters is that I'm winning," the doctor laughed as the boy looked back at him, "And no matter what you do Lestat, you will never win this game. I am the master of all the cards. Only I know the out come and control it."
Lestat? That boy was Lestat? Wow, he looked better and less sinister without all that dark makeup. Maybe he wasn't the bad guy after all, the doctor was.
"Fine, I'll stay and keep working for you, but if you as so much dare touch Selene, I promise, you won't be alive to play the game for much longer," Lestat turned around, only to find himself being surrounded by the mindless minions, grabbing him from every angle and dragging him back to his cell.
Although I was still confused, my visions weren't done yet. What happened next wasn't like the other times so far, but all I could tell was my vision had changed, dramatically. It was clearer, more vivid than any of the visions I'd had so far.

Lestat was standing in a gazebo with at girl looking at him. His dark makeup was gone and his hair was in a totally different hair cut. He wore a black leather jacket and a gray striped t-shirt. He looked at the girl with shy looking glances, almost as if he wanted to say something, but didn't know how to say it-

His lips suddenly touched the girl's. Before I knew it, both of them had their arms around each other, their mouths inseparable. They looked so happy together. After a minute of me being in shock of Lestat's sudden display of emotions, I realized who the girl was, more shocked than ever before in my life,

It was me!
