A Song To Kiss You Goodbye Chapter Three

Last time, Stephan addressed how he wasn't sure if Maxie was cheating on him or not, Roy told more of his life story to us, Roy found Maxie getting drunk and brought her home and Billy, Roy's son, stopped breathing while he was asleep.

Is Billy going to live? Why did Maxie run off to get drunk? How will Roy take the news about his son?

Roy's P.O.V.

I'd brought Billy to the hospital as soon as I could, but it had already been to late to save him. He officially died twelve minutes after he was brought in. I'd called Maxie to tell her what was going on, and she was there within those twelve minutes. She was there when they announced to me my son was dead, holding me close as I cried for the lose of my son.

"It's going to be okay Roy, you'll be fine-"

"No, it won't," I tried to explain to her, "I left my family to take care of Billy's mom and him, and now I don't have either. I've lost everything that matters to me, everything!"

The rest of the week I ignored anything to do with the outside world, including Maxie. All I wanted to do was die, but I didn't believe in taking the easy way out of things. Instead, I worked harder than ever to improve my strength. It seemed to be the only thing left for me to do. I would of gone outside to gain some tips, but I knew I wasn't in the mood.

After a week, I'd gotten a call from the person I was renting from. They explained that I was going to be kicked out if I didn't pay up for my first month's worth of rent. I looked for every bit of money I could find, but I didn't even have enough to even pay half of my it. I was going to be sent to the streets, and I couldn't find anyway for me to save myself from it. I'd seriously been considering taking my life when I heard the door bell ring.

As I opened the door, I saw Maxie for the first time since the hospital. I hadn't realized how much my feelings had still been growing for her, cause when I looked at her, I felt a wave of happiness like nothing I'd ever felt before. I hadn't wanted to admit it before, but I knew it was true. I loved her.

Maxie's P.O.V.

I'd come to check on how Roy was doing after his son's death, and right as I saw him, I knew he wasn't fine. He hadn't shaved for the past week and he'd been neglecting to take a shower, but I didn't care about how bad he smelled right now. I wanted to know if his emotional spirit was okay. I didn't even have to say anything and he explained to me he needed help.

"I can't pay my rent," he told me, "And I'm going to be kicked out if I don't pay up. Maxie, do you have any ideas?"

"You can't pay the rent at all?"

He nodded, "I've tried to find all the money I could, but I still don't have enough to even pay half."

"Well, you could live with Stephan and I until you can live on your own. I'll even help you find some work. I've been able to get some great connections since I've been getting gigs. Maybe I could convince someone to let you perform."

"You'd do that for me?"

"Why wouldn't I? You're my best friend here, and I'm not letting you fall like this."

Roy had been getting a change of clothes as I went into the bathroom to look at myself, my IF form. I knew I had to help Roy. He'd lost all that mattered to him and he'd already helped me when I was drunk; I owed him this. He really was my best friend here, although I was questioning how I really felt for him recently.

It was one of the two reasons I decided to have a few drinks about a week ago. I'd started to feel different about him after we sang that karaoke song and that lady comment how great we'd be together. I didn't mean to dwell on it, but I did. He was caring, strong, hilarious, handsome (To me anyway), and worked hard for what he had, but those were only some of the hundreds of things I admired about him.

The other reason for my night out drinking was me thinking about how I should tell Stephan I was an IF, and if I should even tell at all. I didn't know if Stephan would stay with me if I told him the truth, and I didn't want to risk it. However, if i didn't tell him and he learned of it, he'd be angry at me and possibly leave still. If only I had someone else who shared the same problem as me. I could talk about how I was feeling with them, and they'd somewhat understand me.

I changed back to my sim form when I heard Roy come out of the bedroom. I walked out of the bathroom and looked over at Roy, my mistake. My heart started to fall head over heals for him. I tried to focus on Stephan, but thoughts of Roy overcame them.

"Maxie... you okay?" he asked me when he noticed how strange I was acting.

"Yes, I'm fine. Come on Roy, I think I know where you can get your first show."

Roy's P.O.V.

I'd gotten a slot at showing everyone how I was more than your average Joe, or in this case a mime. I couldn't tell Maxie how excited I was, but she already knew she'd made my day.

"Roy, how would you like to hear a song I wrote?"

"Sure, what's it about?" I decided to ask her.

"Secrets, so here it goes..."

As I heard the lyrics, I was able to connect with them. It was about a sim who had a secret about who they really were, but didn't know how to tell the people she cared about what she was. I felt the song had been written for sims like me, hiding the fact that they weren't normal, that everyday they wondered if they should tell others what they were or not.

Then a thought came to me, it seemed as if Maxie was singing from experience. Was it possible she was hiding something as well? If she was, was it the same secret as what I had, or something totally different? The harder I listened, the more I realized what Maxie wasn't who she said she was, that just like me, there was more to her that meets the eye, but what was it?

The Destruction Of The Codes Chapter Six

Last time, Lestat explained his plan on how they were going to escape to Leanna. We also learned about Arther's secret son he had with Selene, Rextmar. To top things off, Lestat was able to sneak Leanna over to his room and they decided to sleep together.

What was Lestat's plan? What will happen when they group does escape, if they even do manage to get free? How will things turn out for Lestat and Leanna?

The next day, a group of mindless minions brought me to the "throne room" as Lestat called it. My stomach had been bugging me ever since last night with Lestat, and it was getting annoying. When I came through the doors, I noticed that Zeke, my father, and Angelia were already there, but where was Lestat and Selene?

"Welcome to my humble home," an old looking man sitting on a chair in front of us said. I knew from the sound of his voice that he was the doctor, his voice matched the one in my dreams perfectly ", I'm sorry for the delay in bringing you down to see me, but I had some... unique opportunities come up the past week and I couldn't resist."

Just then, Selene and Lestat came up behind us, walking on the opposite side of the group. Lestat walked up behind me, ignoring me the best he could, but I knew it was part of his plan. He'd explained that he would have to act like he didn't know me that well, so the doctor would believe he wasn't planning anything with me.

"Sorry for being late Doctor," he exclaimed as he stood next to me.

"All is understood, you are just in time for me to explain to our guests why we brought them here."

"I know why you want me here Doctor," Arther explained ", But holding the other three is a senseless act of cruelty. They can do you nothing."

"That is where your wrong," that was when the Doctor looked straight at me "Your oldest shares the same brains as you, and that's what I need to finish my next project, since no one else here has the brains for it. The other two guests, your youngest and your daughter's friend, just so happened to get caught in the mess of things, that's all."

"You already know I'm not going to work for you-" Arther tried to explain to the Doctor before he interrupted him.

"I know you won't, but your daughter might-"

"No she won't," Lestat yelled at the Doctor firmly.

"Excuss me? Did you just tell me no?!?!" The Doctor yelled back at Lestat.

"I'm not going to let you,"

Before I knew it, Lestat started to seemingly open the air in front of him, a void of color opening in front of my very eyes. Selene ran over as well to help Lestat open the void he was making. The bigger it got, the more I realized what Lestat and Selene's powers were, portal opening. Minions started to surround us as Lestat yelled for us to run inside.

"Get them! I can't let Lestat or the red headed woman escape! They're vital to my plan!" the Doctor ordered the minions as I ran inside the portal Lestat and Selene were trying to keep open with all their strength. Once Arther, Zeke, Angelia and I were inside, Selene and Lestat closed the portal behind them.

As we pushed against the current of the time stream like Lestat had explained we would yesterday, I noticed how weak Lestat and Selene had become from open the portal. If they did it a second time, I was afraid one of them would pass out from exhaustion. As we came to a small crack in the time stream, Lestat and Selene went over to it and started to pull it open. Lestat looked over at me, tears of pain filling his eyes as he tried to keep the crack open.

"Hurry up," Lestat managed to say, almost loosing his grip on the opening, "Please, get in..."

Zeke pulled Angelia inside as he followed in behind Arther. Right after I made it in, Selene and Lestat closed the crack behind them.

When Lestat fell on the floor from being too weak to stand up, I realized what he was willing to go through for the ones he cared about. I also learned one very important factor about being able to open portals, it required the person to be physically strong, because it took every muscle to pull them and keep them open.

I bent down next to Lestat, moving the hair out of his face before I kissed his head, "Thank you Lestat, how can I ever repay you,"
He looked up at me, reaching his hand up to stroke my cheek, "You've already repaid me with the only thing I could ever want, your love."

"What's going on down here?" A young man with coal black hair and rose red eyes asked as he ran down stairs, noticing Selene, who was on her knees, trying to regain her strength ", Mom... why are you here? Who are all these people?"

Arther looked the man over, then looked over at Selene, who tried to hide her face from him. Did my father realize who this man was? His very own flesh and blood? His son?

"Rextmar my baby, we just escaped the Doctor and we need to stay here for a while until the Doctor stops looking for us, is that okay?" Selene explain to her son, staring him down.

"Yes mother, it's fine. I just want to know who the other four are."

"All will be explained in due time my son... why is the child an adult already?" Selene asked as she looked over at Angelia, who was in fact, no longer a child, but a beautiful young adult, but their was only one question on our minds as of what just happened to the young Angelia, how did this happen?
____________________________________________________________________

After getting into some new clothes and changing our looks, Lestat and I decided to find a place for everyone to sleep. We found a room full of bunk beds, with a double in the middle that would be perfect for us.

"You think this will do?" He asked me as he looked over at me.

"There is plenty of room for all of us in here, this room will do,"

"I meant the bed, for us,"

I laughed as I held onto him, pulled him on top of me as we landed on the bed, "What do you think? Should we try it out?"

"Only on your command my darling,"

This time around we didn't have to worry about minions passing the door at any minute. We didn't even have to worry about the others knowing. They were still either changing their looks or trying to figure out what had happened to Angelia. Lestat and I had tried to come up with ideas of how Angelia could of skipped her teen years, but we decided we could think it over as we looked for a place for all of us to stay.

As he hovered over me, my stomach started to swirl. When he tried to kiss my neck, I pushed him off me. I was starting to feel sicker by the minute.

"Lestat, please stop for a bit,"

He got up and looked at me concerned, "What's wrong?"

"It's my stomach," I complained sitting up next to him, "I feel like I'm going to spill my guts."

A slight smile showed on his face when I explained I wasn't feeling good to my stomach, "This only started to happen after last night right?"

"Yes, I woke up not feeling that well and... how can I be so stupid! I know what's wrong!"

"You don't actually know what's going on, you could be sick from getting here..."

"...But I started to feel sick before that, and I've already taken one of the pills for time stream sickness. We both know what is going on with me Lestat. There can be no other explanation..."

"Shhh," he said as he wrapped his arm around me, closing his eyes as he leaned his head to mine, "I know what your thinking, and everything will be fine. I'm going to be with you every step of the way."

"Every step?" I asked as he held my hand.

"Yes Leanna, but not just for you. I'm going to be there you and our child."

Thanks for reading once again. How do you like Lestat's new look? It's not completely finished though. There is one more new aspect of him that I'm going to introduce next chapter. You might be able to guess what it is from looking at the picture of him above. I'm thinking of uploading him to the site, but I'm not completely sure yet. I kind of just want to keep him to myself.

The Clands Legacy Generation Four Chapter Two

Welcome back, last time we ended with the death of Isidro, Volina's first love. Let's go see how she's taking  his death, shall we?

The death of Isidro had taken Volina by surprise deeply, and she didn't know how to deal with it. Should she try to forget about him and turn to Efren, or should she still be true to Isidro, even though he's dead? Even though she wasn't sure how to continue her love life, she knew one thing, the stereo had to go.

Efren watched as Volina moved the stereo that had taken Isidro's life away from the house. He wanted to show himself to her, but he wasn't sure now was the time. Maybe she'd be able to work things out by herself.

He watched as Volina placed the explosive on the stereo, turning it on and starting to run from it, only for it to blow up before she made it far enough away from the blast zone.

Efren: No!!!! Volina!!!!

Efren ran over to the blast zone, finding Volina and seeing if she was hurt, or even still alive. The sudden realization of what he'd feel like if he'd lost her was coming over him. He couldn't live without her, he couldn't! When Volina saw Efren, she started to cry even more. He was here, he was here.

Volina: Efren... you're here...

Efren: Are you okay? Are you hurt? Please tell me your okay!

Volina: Efren... you're here...

Efren: Yes I am, and I'm not leaving you again! Too much has already happened for me to leave you alone.

Volina wrapped her arms around Efren, her tears landing on his shirt.

Volina: Efren, Isidro is dead...

Efren: I know, I know. I'm here now, everything will be okay.

Volina: No things won't be okay, Isidro's gone! My life will never be complete again-

Efren: It will get better, trust me on this one. Your life will turn out  greater than you think. Just don't give up on yourself.

Volina: I don't think I can do it myself-

Efren: That's where I come in.

Efren didn't know what to do, maybe just being here would help Volina right now. It seemed to be working currently.

Efren: Do you want me to bring you inside?

Volina: Yes... can you bring me to the master bathroom? I need to clean up.

Efren: Sure, whatever you need.

Efren carried Volina inside and up the stairs. When he got to the bathroom, he was about to head into the bedroom to wait when Volina spoke up.

Volina: No Efren, please don't go! I've already lost Isidro, I can't lose you too! Your not going to run from me again!

Efren turned around, his hands holding on to her arms.

Efren: I'm not leaving you Volina... I can't. I can't stay away from you. I tried to stay as far as I could, but I just found myself back here. I'll never leave you, never.

He didn't know if now was the time, but he had to show Volina he cared, and this was the only way he knew how. He meant for it to be a quick peck on the lips, but as he tried to pull away, Volina wrapped herself around him, bringing him back.

Volina was ten times more happy when he looked at her again, and her actions were just proving how much he'd already helped her recover.

Volina: Efren, you said you'd only be with me if I wasn't with Isidro, right?

Efren: Yes, but...

Volina: Shhh, you have no excuses now. So the only question is do you still want to be with me?

Efren: Hmmmm *Looks over at the shower* How about you tell me as I help you get cleaned up?

Volina: Naughty Naughty Efren! Making me wait for my answer, how could you!

Efren: Hurry up and you'll get your answer sooner.

That night Volina had her first gig at the opening of a new hang out. She'd brought Efren along so he could finally hear her sing.

Efren was loving every minute of it. He'd heard a lot of great singers, but none compelled in comparison to Volina, and he wasn't just saying that because he thought so, she was!

After the show, Efren went up to Volina to explain how good she really was, not expecting what was coming for him.

Efren: That was amazing! I've never heard a voice like your's.

Volina: Oh, you're just telling me that.

Efren: No, it's true! Out of all the voices I've heard, you are by a long shot the best!

Volina: So, out of around a hundred people, you think I'm the best? The odds of me being that good are kind of low in my opinion.

Efren: But you are! By the way, it's out of a thousand, not a hundred.

Volina: Now I know you're lying, but it still sounds good when it's coming from you.

Volina: Efren, how much do you know about my culture when two people who are in love?

Efren: Well, not much really, but from what I know, one of the people who is in love asked the other one to spend the rest of their lives together, and asking the person is called engagement. Then their is a party, called a wedding, and the two get married. That's about as much as I know.

Volina: That is pretty accurate to what actually happens. So what do you think about this marriage thing?

Efren: I think it's something I could look forward to, it sounds a lot better than arranged and forced marriages, which is what I grew up with. It gives both people the choice to be together... what's behind your back?

Volina: Oh nothing, I was just wondering...

Volina: ... Will you marry me?

Efren: You... you want to be with me?

Volina: Yes I do! So do you want to marry me?

Efren: Yes Yes Yes!!!!! A million times yes!

I just love these two! I had something else in mind before, but Isidro's death was just so... perfect. Is it sad if I think Volina looks cuter with Efren than Isidro?

Volina: Oh wow, my stomach just decided it was time for some turning around.

Efren: What's wrong?

Volina: I'll be right back, I need to puke for a moment.

As Volina was by herself in the bathroom, she realized that she might be pregnant. She was happy for a moment until she realized she'd who hooed with Isidro before Efren, so there was a chance that if she was pregnant, it wasn't Efren's.

Outside the bathroom, Efren was waiting for her. Should she break the news to him now, or later?

Efren: You look upset again, what's going on?

Volina: I think I might be pregnant... but if I am, there is a chance it's not your's...

Efren: You mean it could be Isidro's baby. That's okay, I'm fine having a step-child. Are you okay with me being it's dad, even if I'm not it's real dad?

Volina: Are you volunteering to be a father in place of Isidro?

Efren: That's part of the deal of getting married, isn't it?

Volina: You're getting yourself into a lot of trouble becoming my husband, you know that?

Efren: I knew my life was going to be troublesome the moment I decided to try and save you from my dad. I signed myself up for this, and I'm ready for whatever is thrown at me.

Random Townie: I hate hearts, it means love, and love is for idiots, cause the only thing love causes is pain.

That lady has a positive view on life.

Volina: OHMYPLUMBBOB!!!!! It took our picture while we were inside who hooing! This is bad!

Efren: It can't be that bad... Oh no... DESTROY THOSE PICTURES NOW!!!! I refuse to be that hairy!

Volina: I like your hair though! It adds character. I'm destroying these so our children won't have to see this in the family photo album.

Volina: Die photo die!!!! *Rips picture apart* There, now can we do something that we would be okay with  putting in front of our children?
Efren: Agreed, our kids don't need to know how they came into this world by seeing a picture of it.

Efren: This one is so much better, no hairy back side showing.

Volina: I still like your hairy back side.

Now to meet Amit and BreAnne's first grandchildren. This is Jaeger and Sambuca's baby girl Shantel... She's so blue and adorable! Her eyes are bright blue, and they've stolen my heart for sure! I'm also in love with her hair (Amit's) and how bright her skin is. If it wasn't for how cute Efren was, I'd be complaining on how I wanted Jaeger to be the heir instead!

I also have to introduce June, Ziv and Jada's baby girl. She had a darker shade of green than her mother and has the lime green eyes, so she'd my little green baby, just like Shantel above is my blue baby :D June also inherited BreAnne's hair. This one also won my heart.

Then we have Callie, Eneco and Mandie's girl, who has her mother's skin, and her grandma BreAnne's hair and eyes. She's not as cute as Shantel and June though. No stealing anything from me on this one.

Sure enough, Volina was pregnant. Efren really didn't seem to mind that the child could very possibly not be his. He viewed it like it was anyway. Anything that was important to Volina was important to him.

Volina loved having Efren around. He reminded her so much of Isidro, but he was still his own self. What she really loved about him was how much he cared about her. She could go and take about anything to him, and he'd somehow understand what she was going through.

BreAnne wasn't sure she liked this Efren fellow. She'd only just met him and she really didn't know anything about him. What if he was out to harm her daughter? She'd already had her heart broken from the death of Isidro, she couldn't possibly go through another broken heart.

Volina: What's with the glasses Efren?

Efren: It's for my career outfit. I've chosen to be called Shades, hence the glasses.

Volina: Oh, that makes sense. I've been going by The Emperor, in honor of my mom who wants to become the Emperor of Evil.

Efren: She doesn't seem to like me. You have any idea why?

Volina: She doesn't really know you yet. Once she gets to know you, she will adore you!

Efren: Why did you bring me up here?

Volina: I've been working on a little project. You remember all those pictures I made you take with me?

Efren: Yes...

Volina: It was for this, go check it out!

Efren: This... This room is beautiful!!!
Volina: Thanks, I knew you'd like it!
Efren: The work you did on this room is only half of the reason I like it. The other half is because you did it.
Volina: You really know how to win a girls heart, you know that?

Townie: What's with the gizmo?

Amit: It's to see if your body is working perfectly okay.

Townie: Do you even know how to use it?

Amit: To a point... yes. I know if the thing starts beeping, your as good as dead.

*Beep Beep Beep*

Amit: Not that beeping sound.

Efren*I can do this! I will succeed at my first gig*
And for my next magic act, I need a volunteer from the audience!

Old lady: I will young man!

Efren*Oh no... it's her...*

Efren: Step right into the box my dear, and don't move
*Whispering to the lady* Why are you here?

Old Lady*Whispering back* I need to speak to you about the girl you've fallen in love with. That's all.

Efren: Sure Yvette, we can talk after the show.

Efren: Why are you here? I haven't done anything wrong!

Yvette: Yes you haven't, I've just come to check on you. How is your life going with this human girl?

Efren: She's not all human you know. She is part Mythic.

Yvette: Yes, I know. I helped her uncle, Erik, back when him and an old neighbor of mine were just starting out their lives together. I know she's part Mythic, I've been studying her family history and there is something you need to know... if you do marry her, you'll be out-lawed.

Efren: What?!?!

Yvette: Her great grandpa, Lemon, was a criminal. He was out-lawed here for his crimes, and so therefore this is a non-legal family. They shouldn't be here, cause starting a family while out-lawed is illegal.

Efren: But from what everyone tells me, Lemon was an amazing man, even reached the top of his career in law enforcement!

Yvette: True, but becoming the good guy isn't enough to pay for what he did. He tried to organize a rebellion against how the Mythic system works. We caught him before any major damage was done though. He was sent here to learn a lesson, not start a legacy!

Efren: So are you telling me just to leave Volina, with a baby who's father has died, and return to the Mythic Society?

Yvette: That just about sums it up.

Efren: Well, it that's the case, I'm not going.

Yvette: Huh?!?!

Efren: Sorry, but if this is how the Mythic Society is going, I don't want any part of it. I love Volina, and I'm not leaving her when she needs me the most. Out-law me for all I care, I've lived with it my whole life already because of my father. You can even take away my powers, but I'll still stay with Volina. You know why? Cause I love and care about her, along with her child, that's why!

Yvette: Wise choice Efren, and smart too, but I'm afraid because of the law you still will be an out-law. I'm sorry it has to be this way...

Efren: Don't be, I never really fitted in with the Mythic Society anyway. I feel more at home here than anywhere else I've been.

When Efren had just gotten home, he started to hear Volina up stairs yelling that the baby was coming. He quickly helped her to the hospital, and after hours of waiting, the first child of Generation Four was born...

Please give a warm hand for Jake Clands, the son of Volina... and Isidro. Yep, the child wasn't Efren's, but that didn't matter to him. To Efren, the child was his, and always would be in his mind.
Jake has his mother's eyes, his father's skin, and some random hair color that I think suits him.

Thanks for reading, and by the way, isn't Jake cute? I seriously can't wait to see what Volina and Efren's children are going to look like!
