Sorry for being Gone
Sorry for being gone. I have had work, college, and transferring files over to my laptop to work though. But now I am happy to announce that I am back, and I have a new story I am working on. It is going to be called "His Name Was Valentine." Just in times for Valentine's Day maybe? I'll have pictures later for it.

The Meyers
Lorie Meyers and her daughter Tasha (A Mother & Daughter Pair Contest for Colors I See)
Lorie is a single mother with a habit of having one too many one nightstands. Tasha is the result of one of them, but Lorie wouldn't change it if she could. She loves Tasha dearly, and would do anything for her.
Her daughter doesn't know about her late night partying with men while she's out at a friends, and she begs to the watcher that Tasha doesn't have the same fate as she has. Her daughter deserves more than this.
Tasha doesn't know who her father is, and she never will. That doesn't matter to her though, because she has the most amazing mother on the planet. She has no idea about who her mother actually is when she's not around, and only with the guidance of the watcher will she not end up like her in that aspect of her mother's life.
The Meyers
She thinks she's the best mom ever...
She prays that her daughter won't end up like her...

News: No, I'm not Dead
You all might of noticed how I haven't been active lately. To clarify, I have had a lot of essays and speeches I've had to write and do for my High School College English class. My stories haven't been the only thing I've had to stop for the time being... I had to quit the soccer team at my school *Tears*. At least I was able to be the stat person for the games, so I'm still involved. Not only that, but I'm tutoring a foreign exchange student, even though I enjoy talking with him, that's another hour out of my time to do my homework. I'm trying my best to get my stories out, but it's close to impossible... close, but it still isn't. Oh!, and I've started to watch Black Butler, another bit of my time gone. I have some new posts for my New Legacy, My Secret Wonderland, on facebook if you want to read something.

The Boy Of The Night Part 14
Not Recommended For People Thirteen And Under
Three to four more chapters before The Boy Of The Night comes to an end :(
But fear not! If you are wanting more from me, I'm going to be doing a story on either Issac and Nylora, with their own little adventures alone at boarding school, but you have to decide which one you want me to do!
I couldn't get the poll to work on my blog, so it's at the top of my facebook page, which you should like if you haven't already ;)
(Rae)
"Ya, you captured Issac's eyes so well, but am I really that fat?"
"You're not fat at all Val! If anything, what you're seeing is pure muscle!"
"I'm pretty sure that's fat Rae," he admitted, looking down at his body figure ", I just can't think of how this could be muscle."
"I could prove to you after you get back that you're not fat, but that's if you want."
"Are you asking for what I'm thinking you're asking me? If you are, then it's a yes. Deidra is doing her own little thing in her room, messing with my guitar, Issac and Nylora won't be coming to visit till next Saturday. Yep, tonight I'm free after this party."
"Good then, see you afterwards you sexy beast," I told him, slapping his butt as he passed by.
"Wow there beautiful! Not until I get back!" he laughed, giving me a kiss on the cheek ", love you Rae, I'll be back at eleven at the most."
I'd been invited to a party by an actor I've worked with before. Since it was going to be an all night, come as you go party, I'd decided I'd go. I really wasn't looking forward to it, being shy and all, but the person who'd invited me was a personal friend of mine, and how could I say no?
I regretted my choice of coming when I noticed someone standing at the corner of the entrance room, giving me an evil glare as I noticed him ", hello son. Long time no see as the humans say."
I tried to retain my anger as he walked over to me, ever muscle in my body ready to lunge at him if needed ", what do you want dad?"
"Revenge, haven't you learned this already?" he lifted his hand and looked at his finger nails, admiring how long and sharp they were ", you didn't learn your lesson when I tried to kill your lover. You didn't take a hint when I tried to poison you, and then that son of yours refused to work with me after I offered him anything he wanted!"
"You tried to do what to Issac!?!?" I yelled at him.
"You leave my family out of your revenge plans! They don't deserve to have to deal with the likes of you!"
"But you won't learn anything from me unless you've had your heart broken like mine was! You took your mother away from me, and then went off with a human. You hear me? A brainless scum of a human!"
"Have you forgotten that you were a human once?" I asked, pointing my finger at him ", you were a human at one point of your life. Did you not all at miss being a human when you became a vampire? Did you forget about how great the sun felt on your skin, without it feeling like it was peeling like an onion? Did you forget how the taste of actual food was like? How it was not salty and the variety of what you could have? Have you forgotten about all the friends you left behind as you stayed the same, but they died off, because they weren't like you? Being a vampire isn't a blessing like you and mom tried to tell me, it's a curse!"
"I know it's a curse!" Vladimir finally admitted, after thirty-one years of him telling me it was a blessing to be immortal, he was finally admitting it wasn't ", it's the worst thing possible on this planet, living forever. When I was turned, I tried to lie to myself that it wasn't, that it made you somehow better, but I've always known that it did the opposite. The cons out weigh the pros. There is nothing good about being a vampire. You should be lucky you were never a human son, because then you wouldn't miss it so much."
"You're wrong dad, I'm not lucky at all," I tried to explain to him ", I've always wanted to know what it felt like to be a human, but I've never had the pleasure to do that. I've never known what sun light really should feel like. I've never been able to taste a PB&J or a high quality chef prepared cuisine dish. I've never even known what it feels like to have a heart beat, but you have! The only good thing about being a vampire is immortality, which in itself is a curse! I haven't even around as long as you, and I've already witnessed people I've gotten close to as friends getting old. It sickens me so much! Even if I can't be for a human, then I at least want to be able to go into the sunlight, even for just a second, and not have to worry about burning up alive like I have had to do for thirty-one years."
Something snapped into place in my fathers mind as I told him what it really meant for me to be a vampire. I wasn't sure how to react when he started to cry right there in front of me ", why did you have to remind me so much of who I was when I first became a vampire?" he yelled at me, trying to hold back his tears.
"Dad, what are you talking about?"
"You are exactly like me before I let your mother get a hold of my thoughts. You are exactly like I was."
"And I believe you still can be, if you really do believe you can be."
"It's impossible Valentine," he said to me, more of lying to himself more than anything though ", It's been so long, I'd never be able to go back to the way things used to be."
"Dad, stop lying to yourself! If you believe you can, you will!"
"It's not that Valentine, in order for me to be my old self... I'd have to find her again."
"What do you mean her? Are you talking about mom?"
"No, I'm talking about someone I met before I was with your mother, someone I loved very much, even more than your mother, and she was a human when I fell for her."

The Boy Of The Night Part 13
Not Recommended For People Thirteen & Under
It you haven't done so, and you want to, I have a facebook page for ALL my stories.
(Valentine)
"Daddy!" Deidra screamed as I tried to play my piano over her and Nylora fighting over Tyler ", Nylora won't share!"
I had Tyler first!, Nylora thought to me, I don't want Deidra's fangs all over it!
Will you two ever stop fighting?, I asked the girls, trying to focus once again on my piano.
No!, both of them thought as loud as possible, causing me to mess up the song completely. I loved the girls so much, but I hated it when they argued, which was all the time. If they fought over guys as they were with Tyler currently, it would be the end of the world.
"Daddy?" Deidra said more calmly this time as she crawled over to me, trying to play the song over again.
"Fine Deidra, it's your turn with Tyler," I finally gave in, Nylora please let your sister have Tyler for a few minutes.
Fine, here Deidra. You can play with Tyler now, Nylora passed the teddy bear toward her sister, who snatched it as fast as she could.
Thanks Nylora, you can have it in ten minutes.
Nylora and Deidra might fight a lot, but they somehow always managed to make up sooner or later. Now that Nylora was five and Deidra was turning four, the two didn't need my help with solving most of their problems. They still had trouble sharing Tyler though.
"I see you were able to get the girls to stop fighting Val," Rae exclaimed in approval as she came into the room ", I'm still not able to do it."
"It just takes practice, too much of it," I told Rae, getting off of the piano seat and walking over to her.
"So Rae, how was the movie premiere?" I asked, handing her a dozen white roses, her favorite.
"Oh Val! Thank you so much! Did you pick them out yourself?"
"No, but do you remember that flower stand lady you were talking about, and how you loved her flowers? Well, I called and asked her to get the best white roses she had. I would of picked them myself, but she's only open during the day, due to the recent rise of 'vampire gang' crimes going on."
"It's a shame, the movie premiere had to go on during the day as well because of those fake vampire gangs that have been becoming so popular. I sure hope Issac isn't getting into that stuff, he's becoming of age where kids start joining."
"Issac isn't vampire gang material," I laughed ", if he was in any sort of gang, it would be a nerd gang."
"And he'd be proud of it."
I placed my arms around Rae, pulling her closer to me so we could talk about Issac's future education ", Rae, do you think we should let Issac go to that Prep School he wants to go to so badly?"
"I'm not sure Valentine. He'd really benefit from it, since he'd be getting the education he should be getting instead of being held back on it, but it's a boarding school! I don't want to send my little boy off yet."
"Rae, Issac is ten now! He needs to have a little more freedom. He'll never make any friends if he stays here. They make fun of him too much here. I we sent him to this school, he might be able to find someone he could relate to."
"You're right, he needs this. Okay, tomorrow we'll call the boarding school and start to apply Issac for it."
"We might want to consider applying Nylora for that special school for the deaf as well,"
"Oh! I see what you're trying to do!" Rae giggled ", you're trying to get rid of all the kids! Do you plan on sending Deidra away now as well?"
"I'm trying to do quite the opposite," I began to explain ", if we're going to have anymore children, then we're going to have to either move again or send Issac and Nylora to boarding schools."
Rae's face was priceless as I mentioned more children ", more babies? You're wanting more I see."
"I know you want more as well. The moment Issac and Nylora are applied for their schools, we can try for another, I promise."
As I started to kiss Rae, Nylora and Deidra started to fight over Tyler again. A father's job is never done I suppose.
"You better break up the fight Val," Rae whispered ", I'll tell Issac we've decided to send him to the school."
"Why do you get the easy job?"
"Because you're so much better at getting the girls to behave. Besides, once Issac and Nylora are gone, the next nine months after they leave I'm going to be the one doing all the hard work if we're going to try for another child."
(Nylora)
I was now old enough to where I could go to The School For The Deaf And Blind, but I don't know why they put those two disabilities together for one school though. Today was the day I was heading to the school I had no idea about. After a year of paper work gone wrong, Issac had finally been excepted into the prep school he'd wanted to go to, and he was leaving today as well. Deidra was feeling as if everyone she could hang out with was leaving. Sure, mom and dad would still be around, but they weren't kids like her, and our recently conceived brother won't be here for another year. So let's just say I wasn't surprised when she came up to me, screaming insults everywhere.
I tried to understand what she was yelling at me, but her lips were moving so fast, I couldn't keep up. When I tried to think thoughts to her, she cut me off. I didn't know what I was supposed to do, so I did my best to speak to her, my only option to calm her down.
"Iee aamm suuy!!!" I began to cry ", Iee nedd ttu gu!"
She closed her eyes, taking a deep sigh to calm herself down, I now, but the place won't be the same without you. I won't have anyone to pick on!
I'll still call every so often, and I'll come back for holidays! Besides, you'll find someone else to be with at the pre-school our parents signed you up for!
I know, but none of them will be like you.
I'm going to miss you Deidra, I told her, giving her an unexpected hug, even though we fight a lot, I'm still gonna miss you.
I'll miss you too, and while you're at it, can you find me some hot deaf boys?
I started to laugh so hard, I found it hard to respond, we're both too young to be dating yet Deidra!
So? We can find all the hot guys now, then go after them when we're teens!
Okay sis, I'll be looking, I promise.
(Valentine)
Well, this is it you two, I started as I looked at Issac and Nylora, you're going to be heading to your new schools. I'd go outside with you, but for obvious reason's of it being daylight, I can't.
I wish you could though daddy, Nylora told me, looking down at her feet, trying to ignore my eyes. This was just as hard for her as it was for me. She'd never had any contact with anyone outside our family, and now we were sending her to a place full of strangers, at which she couldn't talk to with her mind.
Then there was Issac, he was going to have a hard time also. He was just as shy as I was, and he had a hard time making friends. He was easily picked on, and I was afraid that he wouldn't be able to make any friends.
Dad, we'll be fine!, Issac reassured me as he could sense my fears for them, we'll make friends and all that, I promise!
Ya daddy, Nylora added, we'll do it for you. It's time we started to meet new people and make friends. We both promise to do just that.
I found myself trying not to cry as my two oldest told me they were going to try and make friends for the first time. They were so young, yet they were so willing to make me proud.
I finally let my tears fall as I bent down to hug my kids, starting with Issac, "I love you Issac, no matter what happens, I will always be proud of you. You don't need to do anything for me. You've already given me so much by just being my son."
"Dad, please stop crying. Men don't try! The boys at school told me so."
"They're not real men then, because a true man does cry when something is that important to him, and you are very important to me."
I then turned to Nylora, who didn't hesitate to throw her arms around me. I'm gonna miss you daddy!, she thought to me as she began to cry as well, you're the best dad I could ever have!
I'm going to miss you too Nylora, I told her, stroking my hand through her hair, exactly like her mother's in every way, from color to texture, it was exactly the same. She was the image of Rae, smart, brave, and adventurous. The only thing different was how shy she was and being deaf, but she was still my Nylora, and I loved her despite her hearing.
What were you tell Issac just now?, she asked me, letting go and looking at my eyes for the first time today.
That real men do cry, and it's the truth. If they don't they won't be able to relate to you as easily. Oh!, and don't go chasing after boys while I'm not around, okay darling?
She laughed a tiny bit while she wiped the tears from her eyes, I can't promise that, but I'll try.
That's all I ask, because I'm not ready to share you yet with any guys.
Come on you two, Rae interrupted, your rides are here.
I let go of Nylora, fixing her loose hair before letting her out the door, Issac in pursuit. I was really going to miss them, and now I wasn't going to be able to be there for them whenever they needed me. Sure, Issac would be calling me and Nylora would be using email, but it would be different. I still had Deidra though, but with the way she was acting recently, I had a feeling we' be having to send her off as well soon if it got any worse.
